Our balms are waterless moisturizers, a format we have worked with long before it became a skincare trend. Without water, emulsifiers, or preservatives, every ingredient in the formula is present solely to benefit the skin.
Formulated with 26 whole plants, Night Balm begins with a three-month infusion of medicinal herbs slowly steeped into a regenerative blend of fresh, unrefined oils. At the center of the formula are ROSEHIP FRUIT + SEED and ROSE PETAL, all parts of the same plant working together to restore the skin. Rosehip Fruit and Seed are rich in vitamins C, E, and A, alongside synergistic carotenoids and flavonoids. This combination of nutrients found in the Rose plant has been long valued for supporting the collagen matrix, minimizing the appearance of hyperpigmentation, and promoting cellular renewal. Rose petals provide ceramide-like lipids that help strengthen the skin barrier and improve visible firmness.
POMEGRANATE OIL brings long-chain lipids that help cushion and replenish the skin barrier, while vibrant SEA BUCKTHORN delivers concentrated carotenoids and essential fatty acids that promote brightening and resilience. Alongside these oils, tonic nutritive herbs like NETTLE, GOTU KOLA and HORSETAIL provide a broad spectrum of minerals and nourishment that replenish what daily stress can gradually deplete, promoting firmness and structural integrity. COMFREY leaf, an herbalist’s whole-plant retinol, keeps the skin renewing and regenerating, encouraging healthy cell proliferation.
Essential oils of WHITE ROSE, SANDALWOOD, and MYRRH are present in microdoses, included for their traditional affinity with skin repair and evening restoration, adding an aromatic grounding warmth to the Balm.
